abstract |
Provided is a medicine for treating periodontal ligament cell dysfunction and alveolar bone loss caused by periodontal pathogen infection, the medicine comprising IL-18 antibodies and/or IL-18R receptor siRNA exosomes. The medicine according to the present invention uses IL-18 antibodies and/or loaded IL-18R receptor siRNA exosomes as functional components, and binds same to IL-18 in periodontal tissue so as to inhibit periodontal ligament cells from secreting pro-inflammatory cytokines, and reduce the effect of periodontal supporting tissue loss and inflammatory cell infiltration that are caused by periodontal ligament cell dysfunction under inflamed conditions, thereby preventing the occurrence and development of periodontal disease, which has great potential application value for the clinical prevention and treatment of periodontal disease. |
