abstract |
The present disclosure provides a method for producing a frozen body of a three-dimensional tissue aggregate of retinal pigment epithelial cells, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a three-dimensional tissue aggregate of retinal pigment epithelial cell; and subjecting the three-dimensional tissue aggregate of the retinal pigment epithelial cell to a freezing treatment at a predetermined freezing temperature that is determined in advance by employing, as a measure, the abundance rate of linear aggregates of dead cells in the three-dimensional tissue aggregate of the retinal pigment epithelial cell after thawing, thereby obtaining the frozen body. |
