abstract |
Use of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate in the preparation of a medicament or health food for preventing the deficiency of neonatal congenital heart disease defects in pre-pregnancy and/or pregnant women. 5-methyltetrahydrofolate has the effect of preventing congenital heart diseases. The prophylactic dose of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate can be greater than 1 mg. Compared with synthetic folic acids, large-dose use has no teratogenic effect, and thus 5-methyltetrahydrofolate can prevent birth defects in a large dose, and can be used for preventing neonatal congenital heart diseases. |
