titleOfInvention | Electrolyte for preparing hierarchical structure porous coating on titanium alloy surface by micro-arc oxidation |
abstract | Disclosed is an electrolyte for preparing a hierarchical structure porous coating on a titanium alloy surface by micro-arc oxidation, belonging to the technical field of material surface modification. Based on the electrolyte of the present invention and using a micro-arc oxidation method, a titanium dioxide coating with a highly porous hierarchical structure can be prepared on a titanium alloy surface. The electrolyte is composed of 0.07-0.15 mol/L of a tetraborate and 0.10-0.40 mol/L of a strong base. The tetraborate comprises one of lithium tetraborate, sodium tetraborate, and potassium tetraborate. The strong base is selected from one of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide. The coating prepared from the electrolyte has a hierarchical structure composed of interconnected micro-grooves or micro-pores and randomly distributed nano-pores, and a layered structure composed of internal pores and outer grooves. The coating has high porosity and superhydrophilicity, and can be used for surface modification of orthopedic materials and dental implants. |
