abstract The present invention relates to a cellulase-producing fungus strain of Talaromyces pinophilus and active mutants derived therefrom for producing cellulolytic enzymes and a cellulolytic enzyme complex. The cellulolytic enzyme complex of the strain is particularly useful for degrading lignocellulosic materials. The invention also relates to a method of producing a supernatant comprising a cellulolytic enzyme complex derived from the strain and active mutants derived therefrom, as well as methods of using the cellulolytic enzyme complex for degrading lignocellulosic materials.
