abstract | A light-emitting element, provided with a first electrode that is an anode, a hole transportation layer, a light-emitting layer, an electron transportation layer, and a second electrode that is a cathode, in the above order. The light-emitting element is provided, in the following order from the first electrode side, an oxide layer (24b) serving as a first oxide layer and an oxide layer (24c) serving as a second oxide layer, either between the hole transportation layer and the light-emitting layer or between the light-emitting layer and the electron transportation layer. The density of oxygen atoms in the second oxide layer differs from the density of oxygen atoms in the first oxide layer. |
