abstract The present invention provides a solid cosmetic composition comprising (a) vegetable butter and vegetable oil; (b) a first emulsifier having a HLB value of from 2 to 9; (c) a second emulsifier having a HLB value of from 10 to 20; and (d) one or more gelling agents, one or more thickening agents, or a mixture thereof; wherein the total amount of vegetable butter and vegetable oil present is from 30 to 95 wt.% based on the solid cosmetic composition; and wherein vegetable butter is present in an amount of from 30 to 80 wt.% based on the solid cosmetic composition.
