titleOfInvention Multistage alkylation at improved isoparaffin to olefin ratios
abstract The present disclosure relates to processes for the alkylation of an isoparaffin, a process may include introducing, in a multistage reactor, a solid acid catalyst to an isoparaffin feed and an olefin feed at a volumetric ratio of isoparaffin feed to olefin feed of about 100:1 or greater to form an alkylation product mixture. A process may further include solid acid catalyst that includes a crystalline microporous material of the MWW framework type. Furthermore, the present disclosure provides for multistage reactors for the alkylation of an isoparaffin with an olefin. The multistage reactor may include a multiple stages with interstage spaces connecting the multiple stages. A multistage reactor may also include multiple inlets configured to receive an olefin feed, an isoparaffin feed, and or a combination thereof. A multistage reactor may include an outlet configured to release an alkylation product mixture.
