abstract Provided is a method for manufacturing a resin-framed glass plate with high mounting accuracy. A method for manufacturing a resin-framed glass plate, which has a resin frame on a peripheral portion of a glass plate and is to be mounted on a vehicle, comprises: clamping the vicinity of a peripheral portion of a glass plate with a mold; forming a cavity space between the inner surface of the mold and the peripheral portion of the glass plate; disposing a hollow molding, which has a hollow portion and a support member inserted into the hollow portion, such that the hollow molding is spaced apart from the glass plate and at least a part of the hollow molding is exposed to the cavity space of the mold; forming a base member by injecting a resin material into the cavity space of the mold and solidifying the resin material to manufacture a resin-framed glass plate having the hollow molding, the base member and the glass plate integrated together; removing the resin-framed glass plate from the mold; and removing the support member inserted into the hollow portion of the hollow molding, from the hollow portion.
