abstract |
This optical sphygmomanometer (1) comprises: a laser Doppler blood flowmeter (13) that measures the blood flow velocity in a peripheral blood vessel; a photoelectric pulse wave meter (14) that measures the pulse wave waveform in the peripheral blood vessel; a heart rate meter (11) that measures data about a heartbeat; a feature point extraction unit (21) that extracts a feature point related to a beat from the data about the heartbeat; a first calculation unit (22) that obtains the pulse wave propagation velocity from the pulse wave waveform using the feature point; and a second calculation unit (23) that obtains a blood pressure on the basis of the pulse wave velocity and the blood flow velocity. |
