abstract The present invention relates to, with respect to nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, a kit for predicting or diagnosing the risk of the disease, a method for providing information for predicting or diagnosing the risk of the disease, a method for screening a therapeutic agent for the disease, and a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of the disease. More specifically, the kit for predicting or diagnosing may effectively predict and diagnose the risk of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, with particularly excellent significance in prediction and information provision for non-obese subjects. Accordingly, the present invention may be effectively used in the prevention or treatment of the disease by providing effective information on nonalcoholic fatty liver disease through the kit. In addition, the pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment may be effectively used in the treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
