abstract | The present inventors discovered that an antioxidant substance having an enediol structure can prevent the decomposition of biopyrrin. Therefore, the present invention provides an agent that is for prevention of the decomposition of biopyrrin and that contains an antioxidant substance having an enediol structure, or a salt, ester, or glycoside thereof, or a solvate, stereoisomer, or tautomer thereof. A biological sample to which the decomposition prevention agent according to the present invention is added can inhibit the decomposition of biopyrrin at ambient temperature or lower for a long period of time. |
