abstract The current invention discloses a method for diagnosing Alzheimer disease by using biomarkers, and multivariate analysis which gives a more reliable, minimally- or non-invasive method of detection. The invention discloses simultaneous detection of CD69 protein in mitogenic lymphocytes, tau and phosphorylated tau proteins, and amyloid-β peptides in cerebrospinal fluid, which can replace or supplement conventional methods of detection of Alzheimer's disease such as cognitive testing and amyloid-positron emission tomography.
