abstract | A qualitative and semi-quantitative toxicant detection reagent kit and a qualitative and semi-quantitative method for a toxicant. The reagent kit is provided therein with one 5 ml detection liquid centrifuge tube (8) containing 3 ml of a detection liquid, one 5 ml blank centrifuge tube (9), one reaction color chart (10) for different paraquat concentrations when the detection liquid is added, and one qualitative detection reagent strip (11). The qualitative and semi-quantitative method for a toxicant utilizing the reagent kit comprises the following steps: (1) adding a sample to be tested into a detection liquid, the mass ratio of the test sample and the detection liquid being 1:4 to 4:1; (2) if the mixture of step (1) changes color, the presence of paraquat in the test sample is indicated; and, (3) when an immersible end (1) of the qualitative detection reagent strip (11) is immersed in the test sample, the presence of paraquat in the test sample is indicated insofar as a reaction pool (7) changes color. This is effectively serviceable in clinically excluding paraquat poisoning. |
