abstract A suspension body which is provided with a fiber-reinforced plastic and a cover layer that covers the outer periphery of the fiber-reinforced plastic, wherein: the fiber-reinforced plastic is a cured product of an intermediate material that contains a compound having a blocked isocyanate group, a matrix resin and reinforcing fibers; the cover layer is composed of a resin having a functional group that is reactive with an isocyanate group; and the functional group that is reactive with an isocyanate group forms a chemical bond by reacting with an isocyanate group that is derived from the blocked isocyanate group.
