abstract | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a production method by which an ester group-containing acid dianhydride derivative is efficiently obtained in a short time from a low-cost starting material having few environmental sanitation problems at an industrially applicable reaction temperature, while avoiding impurities that have adverse effects on a semiconductor element; and the present invention provides a method for producing an ester group-containing acid dianhydride derivative represented by general formula (4), said method being characterized by causing a lower alkanoic acid ester of an aromatic diol represented by general formula (1) and a trimellitic acid anhydride represented by formula (3) to react with each other in an organic solvent in the presence of an amine compound. |
