abstract |
The group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, and specifically to methods of producing compositions for boron neutron capture therapy of malignant tumors, said compositions containing boron nanoparticles less than 100 nm in size, which methods are characterized in that a powder of elemental boron is sonicated in water for 0.5 to 800 minutes with an oscillation intensity of 1 to 1000 W/cm3 and an output power of more than 100 W, or is sonicated in water for 30 to 300 minutes with an oscillation intensity of 1 to 1000 W/cm3 and an output power of more than 100 W, then the upper portion of the composition with a volume of less than 50 vol% of the total volume of the composition is collected and said portion is sonicated with an oscillation intensity of 1 to 1000 W/cm3 and an output power of more than 100 W for 250-300 minutes. The group of inventions provides for the production of compositions for boron neutron capture therapy of malignant tumors with a high content of boron nanoparticles that are stable over time. |
