abstract | Provided is a chlorine dioxide generation device which is suitable for long-term storage and can remain at an object of interest to exert the effect thereof stably. A chlorine dioxide generation device (101) provided with: a first container (11) in which a first composition comprising a chlorous acid salt and fumed silica is stored; a second container (21) in which a second composition comprising an acidic substance and fumed silica is stored; an outer container (31) in which the first container (11) and the second container (21) are housed; a mixing section (41) in which the first composition discharged from the first container (11) and the second composition discharged from the second container (21) are mixed together to produce a mixed composition; and an ejection section (51) through which the mixed composition that has been mixed in the mixing section (41) is ejected. |
