abstract | Provided are a hydrogenated block copolymer and a resin composition that can be modified while preventing secondary reactions, readily secure intended properties, and have a good moldability. A hydrogenated block copolymer that is a hydrogenate of a block copolymer comprising a polymer block (A) composed mainly of an aromatic vinyl compound-derived structural unit and polymer blocks (B) and (C) composed mainly of a conjugated diene compound-derived structural unit, wherein the total content of the polymer block (A) is 5 to 30 mass%, the content of the 3,4-bond and 1,2-bond in the polymer block (B) is 51 to 90 mol%, and the content of the 3,4-bond and 1,2-bond in the polymer block (C) is 1 to 50 mol%. The hydrogenated block copolymer has a storage elastic modulus (G') at 100°C of not more than 1.2 MPa, as obtained by dynamic viscoelastic measurement in accordance with JIS K 7244-10 (2005) under the condition of 0.1% strain, a frequency of 1 Hz, a measurement temperature of -70°C to +200°C, and a rate of temperature rise of 3°C/min. |
