titleOfInvention Alkali metal silicate coating and preparation method thereof
abstract The present invention relates to an alkali metal silicate coating composed of alkali metal silicate of chemical formula M 2 O·nSiO 2 and lithium silicate of chemical formula Li 2 O·mSiO 2 , wherein M is selected from sodium, potassium or a mixture thereof, n is 2.9-3.7, m is 4.2-4.8, and the molar ratio of M 2 O·nSiO 2 /Li 2 O·mSiO 2 is 2.2-4.8; wherein the thickness of the alkali metal silicate coating in terms of SiO 2 as determined by a fluorescence X-ray analysis method is 630-1450mg/m 2 , preferably 700-1400mg/m 2 . The present invention further relates to a preparation method of the coating. The coating of the present invention is excellent in heat resistance, hot water resistance, stain resistance, and damage resistance.
