abstract Method for purifying at least one lipoglycopeptide antibiotic comprising the steps of: i) dissolving said at least one lipoglycopeptide antibiotic in an aqueous solution to form a mixture, ii) loading said mixture into a chromatographic column comprising a stationary phase, wherein said stationary phase comprises silica functionalized with organic pendants, iii) eluting the mixture loaded in step ii) using an eluent composition comprising a water-soluble organic solvent obtaining eluate fractions, iv) selecting the eluate fractions containing the at least one purified lipoglycopeptide antibiotic.
