An optical material according to the present disclosure comprises a (thio)urethane resin and a near-infrared absorbing agent. The optical material has an a* of -10 to 0 and an L* of at least 70 in the CIE 1976 (L*, a*, b*) color space, as measured at a thickness of 2 mm, and has a peak width of 150 nm to 400 nm at the absorbance that is two-thirds of the absorbance at the peak top (Pmax) for the main absorption peak (P) in the visible light absorption spectrum. |
