abstract | Provided are an edge-light-type light guide plate that is easy to manufacture due to having exceptional brightness uniformity and exceptional moldability in light guide plate manufacturing achieved by extrusion and roller transfer, and an edge-light-type surface light source unit in which the light guide plate is used. The present invention provides an edge-light-type light guide plate including a styrene-based resin composition, wherein the surface of the light guide plate has a plurality of lenticular and/or prismatic protrusions, the thickness T of the light guide plate is 1.0-3.0 mm, and the styrene-based resin composition contains a styrene-based resin and a phosphorus-based antioxidant (A) and/or a phenol-based antioxidant (B) and satisfies (1) and/or (2): (1) the height H of the protrusions is 10-500 μm and (2) the pitch P of the protrusions is 30-800 μm. |
