titleOfInvention Determining a refractive error of an eye
abstract The invention relates to a method (210), a device (110) and a computer program for determining a refractive error of at least one eye (112) of a user (114), as well as a method for producing a spectacles lens for the at least one eye (112) of the user (114). The method (210) for determining a refractive error of at least one eye (112) of a user (114) comprises the following steps: a) displaying at least one drawing (122) on a screen (120), wherein at least one parameter of the at least one drawing (122) displayed on the screen (120) is changed; b) detecting eye movement metrics (144) of the at least one eye (112) of the user (114) according to the at least one drawing (122) displayed on the screen (120); c) establishing a time at which a recognition threshold of the user (114) is revealed for the at least one drawing (122) displayed on the screen (120) from the eye movement metrics (144) of the at least one eye (112) of the user (114); and d) determining a value (220) for the refractive error of the at least one eye (112) of the user (114) from the at least one parameter established at the time. The invention allows for the value (220) for the refractive error of the at least one eye (112) of the user (114) to be objectively determined without the use of special devices, without feedback from the user (114), without it being linked to a location and with it being suitable for use by a layperson.
