| abstract | Disclosed are a network configuration method and apparatus, which are used for solving the problem, in the prior art, that a single network cannot meet the service requirements of multiple sub-services of an Internet of Vehicles service. The method comprises: a first apparatus receiving a service request from a terminal device, wherein the service request comprises an identifier of a service and a network type supported by the terminal device, and the service comprises at least one sub-service; and the first apparatus determining, according to the network type supported by the terminal device, a selected network for each sub-service, and initiating, based on the selected network for each sub-service, a network configuration process. Therefore, differentiated network requirements of multiple sub-services of one service can be met by means of the collaboration and complementing of multiple networks, such that the reliable continuity of the service is ensured, thereby meeting the service requirements of an Internet of Vehicles service. |
