titleOfInvention | Method for improving calcification of artificial biovalve by way of coating |
abstract | Disclosed is a method for improving the calcification of an artificial biovalve by way of a coating. The method comprising first placing a pretreated biovalve material into an aldehyde-containing solution for a chemical cross-linking reaction, wherein the concentration of a solute having an aldehyde group in the aldehyde-containing solution is 0.1%-2% (w/w), and the reaction time is 0.5 hours to 2 weeks; then soaking the biovalve material in an amino silicone oil emulsion, wherein the amino silicone oil emulsion has an amino value range between 0.2-0.6 mmol/g and a viscosity between 500-5000 mPa.s, the soaking time is 0.2 hours to 1 week, and the temperature does not exceed 60ÂșC. In the method, by introducing a smooth and soft organic material coating into a biovalve leaflet material, the softness and surface smoothness of the valve leaflet are increased, friction is reduced and the risk of calcification is reduced, thereby extending the service life. |
