abstract |
Provided is a fibrous structure containing an elastic polyurethane yarn. The elastic polyurethane yarn contains 0.5-10 mass% of a cationic high molecular weight compound A having a number average molecular weight of 2000 or more and contains an inorganic agent B for preventing deterioration by chlorine. The mass ratio of cationic high molecular weight compound A/inorganic agent B for preventing deterioration by chlorine falls within the range 0.3-3. The fibrous structure is subjected to water-repelling processing through application of a silicone-based oil. The fibrous structure preferably contains an elastic polyurethane yarn in which the fluorine (F)/carbon (C) ratio is 0.030 or more in terms of element mass concentrations in the elastic polyurethane yarn, as obtained using a scanning electron microscope-energy dispersion type X-Ray spectroscopy method (SEM-EDX). Provided by this configuration is a fibrous structure that exhibits high water repellency and exhibits a low water retention rate even when immersed in water for a long period of time. |
