abstract | The invention relates to a method for determining chemical element concentrations and bonding forms in a material (2), comprising a) conveying the material (2), b) extracting a sample (5) of the material (2) conveyed according to step a), c) analyzing the sample (5) extracted in step b) by means of ETV-ICP-OES and/or by means of ETV-ICP-MS in order to determine the chemical element concentrations and bonding forms in the material (2). The chemical element concentrations and bonding forms in a conveyed material (2) can be determined directly online without cumbersome laboratory analysis by means of the method described and the corresponding apparatus (1) for determining chemical element concentrations and bonding forms in a material (2). The knowledge of the chemical element concentration of phosphorous and the bonding forms thereof can be used in order to efficiently recover phosphorous from the sludge in the method described and the corresponding arrangement (10) for evaluating and treating sludge. |
