abstract |
A polymerizable composition for optical members according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is a mixture of a first composition that contains a polyisocyanate compound (A) and a second composition that contains a polythiol compound (B1) and a thiol group-containing substance (B2), and additionally contains a thiol group-containing substance (B2) that has a peak at a position that is 3 minutes or more later than the position of the peak of the polythiol compound (B1) in the retention time in the chromatogram that is obtained by subjecting the second composition to high-speed liquid chromatography (HPLC). With respect to this polymerizable composition for optical members, the equivalent ratio of the equivalent amount A of the polyisocyanate compound (A) as calculated using the molecular weight and the number of functional groups of the polyisocyanate compound (A) to the equivalent amount B1 of the polythiol compound (B1) as calculated using the molecular weight and the number of functional groups of the polythiol compound (B1), namely A/B1 is from 80/100 to 95/100. |
