abstract | The present invention relates to a fire extinguishing micro-capsule, a method for manufacturing same, and a fire extinguisher using same. The fire extinguishing micro-capsule has a core-shell structure wherein the core comprises liquid fire extinguishing chemicals and the shell uses a high-density non-porous polymer material. The decapsulation process of the fire extinguishing micro-capsule occurs at a speed of at least 150%/min within narrow time and temperature ranges, and the stability of the chemicals in water and other solvents is significantly increased. The fire extinguisher including the fire extinguishing micro-capsule has advantages of improved service life and operational efficiency. |
