| abstract | The invention relates to a device for sterilising hospital-acquired viruses, which is preferably used in the field of health, in particular to prevent nosocomial or hospital-acquired infection, which is an infection contracted by patients admitted into a healthcare facility. The device comprises a case defined by a rectangular prismatic box that includes at least one lower opening having an inlet for a flow of air to be sterilised; a sterilisation chamber; a space for accommodating a motorised fan; and at least one upper opening having an outlet for a flow of sterilised air, the sterilisation chamber containing an ozone-generating reactor and a posteriori a third small-particle filter for filtering an airflow forced by means of a motorised centrifugal extractor fan, the treated flow being carried to an outlet contained in the case of the device. |
