titleOfInvention |
A device and method to induce interferential beat vibrations and frequencies into the body |
abstract |
This invention teaches mitigating withdrawal symptoms using peripheral stimulation of mechanoreceptors. Interferential beat frequencies can be induced into the body using separately located sources of vibration to localize maxima and minima of stimulation. A conforming seat consisting of two separately driven halves induces a traveling wave due to interference or formation of beat frequencies which are driven in the therapeutic range to mitigate the symptoms and signs of withdrawal. Further, the beat frequencies can be monitored by a transducer to assure compliance of a treatment regimen and as a trigger pattern for focused exercises. |
