titleOfInvention | Water treatment method and water treatment device using reverse osmosis membrane |
abstract | Provided is a water treatment method that, in water treatment using a polyamide-based reverse osmosis membrane, can stably perform the treatment by performing sterilization while inhibiting a decrease in the amount of passed water, when a stabilized hypobromous acid composition is used. This water treatment method using a reverse osmosis membrane includes an intermittent addition step for intermittently adding a stabilization composition containing a bromine-based oxidizing agent and a sulfamic acid compound to water to be treated by a reverse osmosis membrane treatment device using a polyamide reverse osmosis membrane, wherein the intermittent addition step involves repeating of an addition period during which a reverse osmosis membrane treatment is performed while the stabilization composition is added to the water being treated, and a non-addition period during which a reverse osmosis membrane treatment is performed without addition of the stabilization composition to the water being treated, the addition period is in the range of 0.25-12 hours, the non-addition period is in the range of 3-320 hours, the addition period is 12 hours or less within any 24-hour period, and the total chlorine concentration of the water being treated during the addition period is in the range of 0.2-2.0 mg/L. |
