abstract | The present invention provides a novel method for producing a kind of pyridyl pyrazine compound. More specifically, the present invention provides a method for producing a compound represented by formula (3) (wherein R1, R2, R3a, R3b, R3c and n are as defined below), which comprises a step wherein a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein X represents a chlorine atom or the like; and R1 represents a C1-C10 chain hydrocarbon group which may have one or more halogen atoms, a C3-C7 cycloalkyl group having one or more substituents selected from group G that consists of halogen atoms and C1-C6 haloalkyl groups, or the like) and a compound represented by formula (2) (wherein Y represents a chlorine atom or the like; R2 represents a cyclopropyl methyl group or the like; R3a represents a hydrogen atom or the like; R3b represents a hydrogen atom or the like; R3c represents a hydrogen atom or the like; and n represents 1 or 2) are reacted with each other in the presence of a reducing agent and at least one metal compound that is selected from the group consisting of cobalt compounds, nickel compounds and iron compounds, thereby obtaining the compound represented by formula (3). |
