abstract |
A cleaning member (1) according to the present invention comprises a nonwoven structure (2) retaining the shape thereof through the entanglement of staple fibers having a median fiber diameter of 100-2000 nm. The apparent density of the nonwoven structure (2) is 0.05 g/cm3 to 0.60 g/cm3. The cleaning member (1) may preferably further comprise a support member (3) such that the support member (3) and the nonwoven structure (2) are disposed in contact with each other. The staple fibers may be preferably electrospun fibers. In addition, a method for manufacturing a cleaning member according to the present invention comprises: a step for forming a staple fiber laminate by electrospinning; and a step for pressing the laminate to form a nonwoven structure having an apparent density of 0.05 g/cm3 to 0.60 g/cm3. |
