abstract |
Provided is a silicone-containing polymer material that contains an internal wetting agent, exhibits excellent transparency, and has improved anti-fouling properties against lipids. A polymer material according to the present invention is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable mixture containing an (a) monomer component, and a (b) hydrophilic polymer component, the (a) monomer component containing: a silicone-containing monomer having a (a-1) siloxane bond and not having a hydroxyl group; and a compatibilizing monomer having a (a-2) hydrogen bonding proton-containing group and not having a silicon atom. The compatibilizing monomer has at least four carbon atoms (excluding the carbon atoms included in polymerizable functional group), and has a solubility of 0.03g/mL in water at 25°C. |
