titleOfInvention | Installable system for regular continual analysis of an individual's urine to determine the level of hydration of said individual |
abstract | An in vitro method for measuring the volume of one or more micturition events of an individual includes the steps of: positioning a system for collecting and measuring characteristics of urine in a toilet bowl or another sanitary installation; collecting urine passed by an individual within a collection and sampling sub-unit; measuring the value of the conductivity of the collected urine by the system; wherein the volume of each micturition event is determined by an electronics sub-unit of the system by identifying a disruption in the conductivity of the system, wherein when said disruption takes place such event marks or triggers the initial time of the micturition event, and when such conductivity is stabilized, such stabilization event indicates that the micturition event has ended and marks the final time of said event, and wherein the time interval between the initial time and the final time is used to calculate the volume of each micturition event. |
