titleOfInvention Structure component for a chassis frame and method for the production thereof
abstract The invention relates to a structure component for a chassis frame of a vehicle, in particular in the form of a cross-support, in which a storage container is integrated, and a method for the production thereof. It is provided that the casing surface of the storage container is encased at least partially with a connection element, configured as a fibre composite laminate, and the structure component is also adhered at least in areas. For the production of the structure component, at least one flange end with a flange adapter and a storage container are prefabricated. The storage container is loosely accommodated at the end by the at least one flange adapter and adhered to same. It is also essential that, in the connection region, in which the adhesive connection is to be formed, at least one groove is provided/introduced in the flange adapter for receiving an adhesive, and at least one injection opening is provided/introduced in the connection element, which corresponds with the groove. After all the components have been joined together, the adhesive can be introduced into the at least one groove through the at least one injection opening and cured. In this way, a direct fixed connection is produced between the flange end and connection element, and consequently an indirect fixed connection is produced between the flange adapter and the storage container.
