The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing an artificially-structured protein fiber with a small diameter that has a stress equal to or greater than conventional products. The method for manufacturing an artificially-structured protein fiber according to the present invention, whereby the artificially-structured protein fiber is manufactured by wet spinning, comprises a step for discharging a spinning dope, said spinning dope containing an artificially-structured protein and an organic solvent, from a spinning nozzle into a coagulating liquid so as to coagulate the artificially-structured protein, wherein, in the aforesaid coagulation step, the bath draft is more than 0.4 and not more than 20. |
