titleOfInvention Method of producing zinc oxide particles
abstract The invention relates to a method of producing zinc oxide particles (P). The method of producing zinc oxide particles (P) comprises the steps of feeding a zinc-containing solution as a raw material RM over at least one feed location (FL1 to FLn) into at least one treatment zone of a pulsating hot gas stream HGS in a reactor (1); and subjecting the raw material RM in the at least one treatment zone to a thermal treatment by the pulsating hot gas stream HGS for formation of zinc oxide particles (P), wherein the raw material (RM) is heated during and/or prior to feeding into the pulsating hot gas stream HGS to prevent crystallization outside of the at least one treatment zone.
