abstract Some embodiments of this disclosure include systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for use in a wireless network for designing Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) and Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) for Multefire (MF)-Lite. For example, some embodiments are directed to a user equipment (UE) including processor circuitry and radio front end circuitry. The processor circuitry can be configured to generate a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) preamble based on a PRACH design. The PRACH design can comply with a predetermined bandwidth requirement to be used by the UE during wireless transmission. The processor circuitry can be further configured to transmit, using the radio front end circuitry, the PRACH preamble to request an uplink allocation from a network device for the UE.
