abstract | Method for producing an endless drive belt from elastomeric material with reinforcing elements or cords lying on the inside and running in the longitudinal direction of the belt, wherein a tubular drive-belt blank is built up in layers from individual layers of a material or a mixture applied to a rotating drum (build-up drum) and the reinforcing elements are wound up on or between individual layers of the material or mixture at an angle to the axis of the drum, wherein, after the tubular blank has been built up and vulcanized, the blank is cut into individual drive belts, wherein a number of individual reinforcing elements running onto the drum in parallel are wound up in such a way that, after the winding, all of the reinforcing elements are arranged spirally or helically with the same pitch next to one another on or in those tubular layers of material that are on the drum. |
