titleOfInvention | Led white light source with a biologically relevant emission spectrum |
abstract | The invention relates to electrical and electronic engineering, and more particularly to light sources based on semiconducting light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and even more particularly to white light sources based on LEDs with conversion phosphors. An LED white light source with a biologically relevant emission spectrum comprises at least two white LEDs disposed on a thermally conductive printed circuit board with electrical terminals for connecting the LEDs to an electric power supply, and a semi-transparent cover arranged over the printed circuit board, wherein each white LED contains, in a light-reflecting housing, at least one indigo-emitting chip encapsulated with a polymer compound containing its own phosphor or mixture of phosphors, and the thermally conductive printed circuit board has at least one blue-emitting LED additionally disposed thereon which is covered with a composite photoluminescent film containing a phosphor in a transparent base. The technical result lies in reducing the harmful effect of emission on the human body and increasing the reliability and efficiency of the light source. |
