abstract |
[Problem] To provide a chlorine dioxide agent which is obtained by impregnating a porous support with a chlorite and subsequently drying the resulting material, and which stably generates chlorine dioxide at a high concentration. [Solution] A neutral to weak alkaline calcined sepiolite that has a pH of 7 or more but less than 10 is used as a porous support for a chlorine dioxide agent. In addition, the calcined sepiolite has a calcium content of less than 5% by weight. A chlorine dioxide agent according to the present invention is characterized by being obtained by impregnating this calcined sepiolite with a chlorite and subsequently drying the resulting material. This chlorine dioxide agent is characterized by stably generating chlorine dioxide at a high concentration. |
