titleOfInvention | Rach resource coordination mechanisms for adjacent hops in iab |
abstract | Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for use in a wireless network for random access channel (RACH) resource coordination. Some embodiments are directed to an apparatus in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network. The apparatus includes processor circuitry and radio front circuitry. The radio front end circuitry can be configured to receive random access channel (RACH) resource configuration for communicating with a parent node and a child node. The processor circuitry can be configured to determine, based on the RACH resource configuration, a first RACH resource for communicating, in a half-duplex mode, with the parent node. The processor circuitry can be further configured to determine, based on the RACH resource configuration, a second RACH resource for communicating, in the half-duplex mode, with the child node, where the second RACH resource is orthogonal to the first RACH resource. |
