A method for producing a positive electrode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery that contains a lithium-nickel composite oxide, wherein the method for producing a positive electrode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery is equipped with a mixing step for mixing a nickel compound, a lithium compound, and organic compound particles to obtain a lithium mixture, a molding step for molding the lithium mixture to obtain a molded article, a firing step for firing the molded article to obtain a fired product, and a crushing step for crushing the fired product to obtain a lithium-nickel composite oxide powder. |
