The invention relates to a method for reducing the kinetosis effect for passengers (10) of motor vehicles having an autonomous and/or semi-autonomous driving mode in which an image (3) produced from image data (2) is displayed, by means of a display unit (1, 18), to the at least one passenger (10) in a displaying region of the display unit (1, 18) during travel, wherein the following steps are provided: - estimating a future change in the acceleration of the motor vehicle; - modifying the image data (2) in accordance with the estimated future change in the acceleration of the motor vehicle by means of a correction algorithm (16) in such a way that relative motion between the displayed image (3) and the passenger (10) is reduced. |
