Silicone gel composition containing hyaluronic acid and/or its salt for prevention and repair of skin scars |
abstract |
The invention discloses a silicone scar gel composition based on a novel concept of infusing a biologically active material such as hyaluronic acid and/or salts with various polysiloxane (s) derivatives in a specific proportion (s) to achieve desired viscosity range and action. It is done by utilizing combination emulsifier (s). Scars are result of wounds due to burns, injury and surgery or diseases such as acne. The gel is having a scar repairing function as well as prevent scars from being formed at beginning stage. Both, new and existing scars can be treated. |
