abstract | The present invention provides a carrier composition for eye drops, and a pharmaceutical composition containing same, the carrier composition being a carrier complex, for eye drops, in which a material to be delivered is supported on a carrier, wherein the material to be delivered includes one or more selected from the group consisting of an anti-inflammatory agent, a glaucoma therapeutic agent, a calcium channel blocker (CCB), an NMDA-receptor blocker, an antioxidant, a nitric oxide synthase inhibitor, a heat shock protein (HSP), a cystinosis therapeutic agent and an antibiotic, the carrier is spherical and comprises a multilayer shell from the center of the carrier to the surface thereof, the multilayer shell comprises a core comprising a hydrogel based on a carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) having a degree of substitution (D.S.) of 0.9, in the center of the carrier, a first shell which is located on the surface thereof and which comprises a hydrogel based on a CMC having a D.S. of 0.8, a second shell which is located on the surface thereof and which comprises a hydrogel based on a CMC having a D.S. of 0.6, and a third shell comprising a hydrogel based on a CMC having a D.S. of 0.65, and the multilayer shell comprises, on the basis of the radius of the carrier, the core having a radius of 25% length, the first shell having a thickness of 20% length, the second shell having a thickness of 40% length, and the third shell having a thickness of 15% length. |
