abstract The present invention relates to a composition for prevention, alleviation, or treatment of CD8 + memory T cell-mediated disease. On the basis of the fact that CD69 + CD103 - CD8 + memory T cells among CD8 + memory T cells residing in the liver form a tissue-resident subpopulation, the composition according to the present invention inhibits the expression level or activity of HIF-2α, which is specifically present at a high expression level only in CD69 + CD103 - CD8 + memory T cells, thereby inducing the death of CD69 + CD103 - CD8 + memory T cells or effectively suppressing the function thereof. Furthermore, exhibiting such effects, the composition can be applied to the prevention, alleviation, or treatment of CD8 + memory T cell-mediated disease.
